In the context of green PtX, Perspectives supports public clients such as Environment Ministries, H2Global and GIZ with analysis and studies on green PtX market acceleration, financing gaps & instruments and expected geopolitical dimensions of global hydrogen trade structures.

Also, we support countries in developing their national hydrogen strategies. The private sector we support with techno-economic and feasibility studies for PtX investments opportunities. Perspectives has initiated the Hydrogen for NetZero Initiative, which supports the private sector to generate carbon finance for green PtX projects. In all our activities, we strive for high environmental integrity and believe that economic efficiency is key for successful climate policy instruments.


YOUR TASKS

  • Research and analysis of information and data for studies and advisory services related to technical and economic aspects of Hydrogen / PtX projects and carbon market mechanisms
  • Conduct technical calculations e.g. on emission mitigation potential and carbon intensities of PtX and other activities
  • Contribute to project work and report writing, e.g. in studies related to low-carbon hydrogen/PtX, negative emission technologies, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and climate finance
  • Power Point presentations
  • Support to sales and marketing tasks
  • Contributions to proposal development and offer writing

YOUR PROFILE

  • Master’s degree related to environmental economics, environmental engineering, and similar
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Experience in working with technical aspects of H2/PtX (for Junior position: 3+ years)
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Detail-oriented and committed to deliver high-quality outputs – both of quantitative (calculations) and qualitative nature (reports)
  • Passion and commitment to work on technical- and climate policy topics
  • Enjoy working autonomously as well as within an international team and to proactively communicate with colleagues
  • Ability to deal with ad-hoc requests in limited time and under pressure
  • Working proficiency in English is a must; German, French and / or Spanish writing and speaking skills are considered a plus
