At Perspectives, we shape the international climate policies and carbon markets of tomorrow. As a leading climate policy think tank, we guide governments and international organizations through the complex world of the Paris Agreement and UNFCCC negotiations.
We are looking for an Analyst who is eager to develop deep expertise in climate finance and UNFCCC negotiations while supporting our team in high-level international projects.
In this role, you’ll be more than just a researcher—you’ll be a vital part of our project delivery and business development.
Research & Policy Analysis: You will conduct deep-dives into climate finance trends, compile evidence for reports, and help us analyze how financial instruments can align with the Paris Agreement.
The COP Experience: You’ll support our work for UNFCCC sessions (SBs and COPs). This involves tracking deadlines, preparing workshop materials, and providing on-the-ground support at major climate conferences.
Project Coordination & MEL: You will assist our project managers with administrative tasks, stakeholder engagement, and Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) processes to ensure our impact is measurable.
Business Development: You’ll learn how to win projects by conducting landscape scans for new funding opportunities and helping us draft concept notes and proposals (EOIs) for international donors.
Background: You are currently enrolled in (or just finished) a Master’s program in Climate Policy, Economics, Finance, or International Relations.
Analytical Mind: You have a talent for synthesizing complex information into clear, readable texts.
Organizational Talent: You are detail-oriented and can handle multiple deadlines without breaking a sweat.
Tools: You are a pro in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Languages: Your English is at a working proficiency level. If you speak French, Spanish, or German, that’s a fantastic asset.
Relevant Interest: Ideally, you’ve already had a first glimpse into climate policy through internships or volunteering.
100% Remote: We are a remote-first organization. You can work from anywhere in Spain, provided your primary residence is in Spain.
Flexible Arrangement: Whether you are looking for a full-time career start (40h/week) or a part-time role (min. 20h/week) to balance with your studies, we offer the flexibility you need.
Perfect Launchpad: This role is designed as a starting point to gain deep, practical experience in the global climate policy sector.
True Purpose: You’ll be working on the most pressing global issue of our time with a team that values fresh viewpoints and expertise.
Ready to start your career in climate policy?
We are looking forward to you application.
